When you create a challenge, you design and lead your own challenge. This is perfect for those who have a clear idea of what they want to do and how they want to do it.

When you join a challenge, you choose a challenge that you like, that is near you, and that matches your selection criteria. This is perfect for those who might not have an idea for their own challenge but still want to participate by helping others.

When you sponsor a challenge, you support the challenge by awarding it change directly. That means that every participant will now receive more change for completing the challenge thanks to you. This is perfect for those who want to make sure they can still help out those challenges they love even though they can´t join them.

It´s quick and easy. Just follow the platform´s user-friendly template that will guide you through the process.

All challenges that match your selection criteria will appear in your feed. Feel free to join the one you like the most.

When you amplify a challenge, you copy a challenge that you liked and that was created by someone else and launch it as if it were a challenge you created. This means you launch the challenge exactly as it was originally created, without any edits or alterations. This is perfect for those who recognize a great challenge being done somewhere else and want to recreate it because the challenges has already completed and has a clearer impact history.

Every time you amplify a challenge, you reward the challengers who originally created the challenge because they will receive points every time you successfully complete their amplified challenge. In the same way, every time someone else amplifies and completes a challenge that you created, you will receive points. This ensures that as a community, we are constantly learning from each other and sharing our best practices from mobilizing this world. It is also a great way to show others you care by celebrating their effort and paying their impact forward.

Amplifying a xallenge means you like it so much that you want to complete it exactly as it was originally designed and complete it. That means the challenge must remain in its original state and no edits or alterations can be made. This also saves you time and energy because amplified challenges have already been approved.

Not automatically but you will be able to invite them same sponsors to sponsor your challenge or invite someone else to sponsor your challenge.

Generally speaking, try to be as specific, concise, and clear as possible to ensure the challenge has a clear objective and every participant knows exactly what needs to be done and how to do it. Play special attention to the Impact metrics and evaluation criteria section to make sure each metric is Specific Measurable Actionable Realistic and Time-bound.

Basically, a challenge is an action executed by a group of people at a physical location to help solve a social or environmental problem with measurable impact and participation.

Yes. You can still edit or change certain aspects of your challenge after it has been approved and before it is completed. Whenever a change has been made, all mobilized challengers will be notified immediately.

Yes. All challenges must take place at a physical location in the real world. It’s all about getting out there and working together face-to-face.

Yes. The minimum number of challengers each challenge needs to mobilize is 10.

There can be, it’s up to who created the challenge. If no maximum number is selected, that means the challenge is open and there is no limit to the number of challengers that can join.

If the challenge has selected a maximum number of challengers needed and all have been mobilized, you can no longer join the challenge. But don’t worry, there’s still hope! You can select to be added to the challenge’s waiting list and be invited to join once a spot opens up on a first-come-first-serve basis.

If the challenge did not select a maximum number of challengers needed, feel free to join by selecting the role you wish to assume.

All challenges that have selected a maximum number of challengers needed will automatically have a waiting list because we know that unexpected things happen at the last minute and because we want to make sure everyone gets a chance to participate. You will be invited to join the challenge once a spot opens up on a firsts-come-first-serve basis.

Another way to make sure you can still participate in a challenge that has a waiting list is by amplifying the challenge and launching it as your own. If you do this, everyone on the waiting list will be notified immediately and invited to join your challenge.

The amount of time you will be given to mobilize the people you need will be automatically calculated by the platform´s algorithm and depends on the total number of people you said you needed to mobilize in addition to other factors such as overall difficulty. Once you have mobilized the number of people you need, your challenge is officially scheduled to be completed.

If your challenge is a response to an emergency or crises, your challenge will become automatically scheduled once approved.

Here are a few tips to help you out:

  • Review it: Make sure your challenge is attractive, unique, and inspirational so that it stands out and that the right problem categories have been selected.
  • Boost it: Buy change or use the change you’ve earned to ask others to join and make sure your challenge is seen by the people you want
  • Find sponsors: Get people, companies, or organizations to sponsor your challenge so it become more attractive.

Boosting a challenge means using change you have earned or purchased to promote your challenges. This will help you to:

  • Mobilize the people you need during the 36- hour period so you challenge is scheduled
  • Make sure your challenge is seen by the people you want based on your selection criteria
  • Find someone to replace you in case you can no longer complete the challenge
  • Find sponsors for your challenge by asking them directly

Don’t worry, you can always try again! All of the challenges that you created and were approved will be saved in your profile. Whenever you are ready, you can try to mobilize again. Here are a few tips to help you out:

  • Review it: Make sure your challenge is attractive, unique, and inspirational so that it stands out and that the right problem categories have been selected.
  • Boost it: Buy change or use the change you´ve earned to ask others to join and make sure your challenge is seen by the people you want
  • Find sponsors: Get people, companies, or organizations to sponsor your challenge so it become more attractive.

If your challenge is in response to an emergency or challenge, your challenge will be officially scheduled to be completed once the required minimum of 10 challengers has been mobilized.

A live challenge is a challenge that has been approved and is still in the 36-hour period of mobilization.

A scheduled challenge is a challenge that has successfully mobilized the number of challengers it needs and has a scheduled date, place, and time to be completed.

Things happen and that´s alright. The first thing you need to do is cancel your participation. If the challenge has a waiting list, the challengers on the list will be invited to participate on a first-come-first-serve basis. If someone takes your spot, that´s it, you´re off the hook.

If the challenge does not have a waiting list or no one on the waiting list is stepping up, it is your responsibility to make sure someone else takes your place by sharing or boosting the challenge until someone accepts. Failure to do so will result in change being deducted from your point bank.

The total number of change deducted will be automatically calculated by the platform´s accountability and impact algorithm.

The following three things need to happen in order to ensure a xallenge is completed successfully:

  1. At least 80% of the mobilized challengers have validated their participation
  2. At least 80% of the impact metrics have been proven to be accomplished
  3. All challengers whose participation has been validated have submitted their exit survey

Every new challenge you create will only be given the option to be scheduled once until the challenge is completed successfully.

If the challenge is completed successfully, all participants will be asked whether or not they would like to participate in the same challenge again. Those that selected “yes” will then be given a chance to select how many times they would like to participate (weekly or monthly) and the days and times of the week they would prefer to participate. If at least 50% of the challengers who completed the challenge said they would like to complete the challenge again, the creators of the challenge will receive the results from the exit survey so they can see which frequency, dates and times were preferred the most and decide whether or not they would like to schedule the challenge to take place weekly or monthly. If the challenge is scheduled to take place weekly or monthly, all challengers who participated in the challenge will be notified so they can mobilize.

The platform will automatically generate an 8-second video report of each challenge you have ever successfully completed to share with anyone you like across all platforms. The video will highlight the challenge’s key impact and mobilization metrics and illustrate the experience of completing the challenge with pictures, videos and quotes.

By the randomly assigned impact verifier.

By the randomly assigned participation verifier

Verifiers are the platform´s accountability mechanism. Each challenge will have two verifiers selected from the pool of mobilized challengers in order to help validate the participation and the impact of each challenger: a participation verifier and an impact verifier. Verifiers will be automatically and randomly assigned and notified by the platform 24 hours before the challenge starts. If you are selected as a participation or impact verifier, your participation is mandatory. If for whatever reason you are unable to complete the challenge, another verifier will be randomly and automatically selected to take your place once you cancel your participation.

A participation verifier has the responsibility to validate the participation of each challenger that is present and ready to complete the challenge before the challenge begins.

An impact verifier has the responsibility to validate if and to what extent each impact metric communicated in the challenge was completed.

As a participation verifier, your responsibility is to validate the participation of each challenger that is present and ready to complete the challenge before the challenge begins. To do so, follow the instructions you will receive and use your phone to check each participant in by scanning the individual QR code sent to each challenger by the platform.

As an impact verifier, your responsibility is to validate if and to what extent each impact metric communicated in the challenge was completed. To do so, simply follow the instructions you will receive to submit your evaluation based on the specific evaluation criteria communicated in the challenge.

Change is our impact currency. Our point system. Or rewards mechanism.

Change are the credits you earn or purchase on the platform.

When you change the world, you get rewarded all the time.

There are two ways to earn change credits:

  1. Every time you successfully complete a challenge. You earn change every time:
  • You create, join or sponsor a completed challenge
  • You sponsor a completed challenge
  • One of the challenges you created gets sponsored
2. Every time you are recognized by others on the platform and they choose to award you change credits. This can happen if other challengers want to:

  • Celebrate something you did
  • Recognize something you did
  • Thank you for inspiring or helping them
  • Just show you they care for whatever other reason
